Morgan-Keller Awarded Methodist Church Project

Frederick, MD - Morgan-Keller is set to start construction of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in October. The project is an 11,500 sf three-story addition to the already existing church. The new space will include administrative offices, a conference room, children’s classrooms, restrooms and storage.

The contract was awarded to Morgan-Keller in September 2009. The church addition will take approximately eight months to build. Project Manager, Steve Leatherman states, “We are excited to start construction of this project and look forward to building the addition that the church needs in order to expand.”

Morgan-Keller is one of Maryland’s largest and most respected commercial builders, with offices in Frederick and Columbia. Now in its 54th year of operation, M-K’s resume of recently completed projects includes office buildings, retail centers, hotels, healthcare/biomedical and the expansion of several senior living facilities.
